Aklan, officially the Province of Aklan, is a province in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. Kalibo is its capital city. The province is located on Panay Island’s northwest coast, bordering Capiz to the southeast and Antique to the southwest. The Sibuyan Sea and the province of Romblon are to the north of Aklan.

The resort island of Boracay, located 0.8 kilometers north of Panay’s tip, is the reason Aklan is most well-known. It is regarded as one of the more well-known tourist sites in the nation and is famous for its white sand beaches.
